Yay ! So, that is all, no need to say more, Yay ! Because Kevin Bacon. Because Tremors. Really need to draw you a picture ?

Okay so, for those who have discovered our site this summer following our coverage of discrete but non-exceptional Ca (which comes out tomorrow, we remind you), in EcranLarge, we love Tremors. Because it is funny, because this is thrilling, because it feels the bouseux and dust, and that we, the bottom end of the USA, we love it. And we are not the only ones because the franchise is making a comeback impressive since two years since, in addition to a sixth film currently shooting a new tv series is in the works.

And it is here that lies the event, because Kevin Bacon, the hero of the first film, will return, and that he was very involved in the project since its inception, eager to return to her character of Val. The latest news, the series should be broadcast by the channel SyFy and directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, excuse me a little). But we need to admit that beyond that, we didn’t know what was waiting for us and, more importantly, how the series was going to position itself in this universe finally rich enough.

So we can thank the website Deadline to provide us with some valuable information, since we know now a part of the cast. We can thus find Megan Ketch (view in American Gothic), which will be Mindy Sterngood, a young doctor charismatic which will make the gringue to Val since he saved her from a Graboïd when she was 9 years old. But it seems to hide a terrible secret.

Shiloh Fernandez

Shiloh Fernandez (the remake of’Evil Dead) will be Nico Garza, who is bored in the small town of Perfection, attending to the company of Earl and we not want to finish these days nor in the city, or as Val. Finally, Emily Tremaine (Vinyl) will perform Emily McKee, the daughter of Val, promised to a beautiful future, a freshly graduated and who stops to Perfection to see his father in the hope that he has finally changed. It does not meet the disappointment.

The series should thus be 25 years after Tremors when a new generation of Graboïds made its appearance. In the absence of Earl and Burt Gummer, it only remains to the city of Perfection as Val McKee for the save. But this would require, first, that he saves himself, plagued as it is by alcohol.

Anyway, all this smells very good and it is hoped that this series will go beyond the stage of simple driver and that it will be very soon.
