While episode 11 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries was broadcast last night on the CW, let’s go back in detail to the major events that marked “You Made A Choice To Be Good”!
We will miss you! And yes meltynautes, while the most emblematic series of the CW soon will bid farewell, we had to resolve to leave our hope for a happy ending usually fly after the death of Enzo. And that breaks our hearts so much Bonnie and Enzo had, during the episodes, knew how to seduce us and to soften us. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover all there was to know about the episode 12 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries , back in detail on the main events that punctuated “You Made A Choice To Be Good ” aired last night. And the least that can be said is that Damon intended to become irreproachable. Very clearly metamorphosed by the forgiveness that he finally granted to Stefan after so many years, his sole goal was to save his brother while doing his best to make Elena proud. Unfortunately, Cade had other plans for him. Returned to earth by the eleventh blow of the bell, the devil wants the job done. However, it is clear that Damon has no desire to follow orders when Stefan, he only dreams of finally being released ties that still bind him to Mystic Falls . And to make things worse, Cade offers an absolutely disgusting choice to the two Salvatore brothers: either they kill 100 criminals or kill their respective girlfriends before sunset. While Damon does his best to find a solution to escape this dilemma, Stefan immediately starts looking for Elena.
Stefan does not seem to want to be saved any more. For their part, Bonnie and Enzo were happier than ever. Indeed, Enzo agreed to take the cure that would make him human again. The couple therefore enjoys a road trip in order to secure the bell and fulfill all the dreams of Enzo while he is still a vampire. Accomplices and deeply in love, these two are adorable and nothing could have prepared us for what was going to happen next. For if Enzo and Bonnie finally had a chance to be happy forever, Damon and Caroline had decided otherwise . They seemed convinced that their only opportunity to defeat Cade was to make him drink the cure. Unfortunately, only one dose was available. The couple then had to accept sacrifice in order to save humanity. And even as the young woman took the precious vial, Stefan disembarked and killed violently Enzo leaving only one exit door to Bonnie: administer the cure to Stefan. But it was already too late to save Enzo. We’re not going to lie to you, we’re still in shock. Why did you kill the love of life in Bonnie just a few episodes from the end?
If there was someone who deserved a happy ending, it was her. We do not know yet if there is hope to save Enzo but one thing is certain, Benzo was an asset for the show and the disappearance of Enzo will leave us forever a bitter taste. At the same time, Caroline and Matt were trying to protect the city from Cade’s attacks. Nevertheless, the agreement was not with the beautiful fixed as Matt seemed gnawed by the grudge. Completely annihilated by the incessant errors of the Salvatore, the new sheriff even ended by attacking the pretty blonde and refusing categorically to drink his blood to ensure his protection. Yes, the vampires made him drool and yes, he has every reason to resent the two brothers Salvatore but what can Caroline do? In short, “You Made A Choice To Be Good” got us surprises intense and not necessarily that good. At five episodes of the definitive end of the series, the plot closes and offers us moments of emotion almost unbearable. Will Bonnie succeed in overcoming the death of the man she loved? We cross fingers for her. Pending further information, see our review of episode 10 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries on melty . What did you think of this episode?
