The Walking Dead Season 7: Episode 14, Sacrifice and Betrayal, Our Critic

Last night AMC was broadcasting a new episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead and he does not augur well for the rest of the season. Check out our criticism and attention to spoilers!
What emotions! This week’s New Season 7 episode of The Walking Dead is episode 14 entitled “The Other Side” which we discovered last night on AMC and which will be broadcast today on OCS Choc. After an episode focused on Morgan, it is Hilltop that returns this week to find Sasha and Rosita in full preparations to attack Negan. After a relatively sympathetic musical introductory scene that shows us that Sasha and Maggie are preparing the community for war, the serious things begin. As expected, Simon and the Saviors arrive to board the other Doctor Carson and it is the perfect opportunity for Gregory to kneel, figuratively speaking, Always more in front of the men of Negan . The leader of the Hill tries vaguely to protest but bends his back quickly and even goes so far as to propose a visit to Simon. Still as courageous …
In other words, all this does not augur well and that one expects a dirty blow in the next episodes. Meanwhile Maggie and Daryl had to hide and The Walking Dead offers us one of those scenes she has the secret. In the dark and after escaping from a Savior (or vice versa), Daryl can finally apologize to Maggie and express his guilt for the death of Glenn. The young woman quickly reassured him that it was not his fault and used the kind of speech that would have been seen in Glenn’s mouth. Their reunion and the forgiveness of Maggie indispensable to Daryl so that he can go ahead were waiting but did not disappoint us . Gently and emotionally, The two friends share their sadness but also their affection towards each other and help themselves to advance to take revenge, together. And the shadows of Glenn and Abraham continue to hover over the characters throughout the episode since on the side of Sasha and Rosita – who also fled when the Saviors arrived – vengeance also remains an engine .
Animosity is always present between the two women during their journey to the Sanctuary – thank you Jesus’ plan – but a few nice words from Sasha enough to appease Rosita and make her understand that they are both in the same camp. While they watch Negan’s exit – or almost – the two women share a touching moment in which one finally learns to know a little Rosita and her past . It must be said that the character is not very loquacious and that the sometimes limited and even suspicious character of Rosita does not always incite to share. Yet it is with Sasha that it opens and although we could not help wondering if during their discussion they were not missing the exit of Negan, It is still an appreciable scene that we could see. The big bad wolf finally gets out of his den but still remains behind Eugene or Dr. Carson, making an impossible shot.
So the girls move on to Plan B, which is, if you understand it, going into the heap. They fall on Eugene who is out and who, to our surprise – or not – refuses to rescue. Aggravated as never before, Rosita decides to embark on a suicide mission but Sasha is faster and passes “on the other side” by preventing her friend from coming with her. As much to say that in spite of the talents of Sasha, one does not give dear of his skin and his chances of being alive are tiny or non-existent . But Rosita does not have time to pity because the alert has been given and she soon realizes that someone is watching her.
