After a season two received mixed, but basically pretty good, True Detective has found itself in an impasse. Not to mention the big problems behind the scenes that have considerably slowed down the implementation of its result. But all returns in the order progressively.
And we can say that the series does not do things by half for his big return. Already, Nic Pizzolatto, one of the creators of the show, remains the sole master on board, since it will write the entire season, with the exception of episode 4. Then, this season 3 is to settle radically with the previous two, and confirms the status anthological of the series since we will propose a small trip in the Ozark and will extend over several decades.
Another challenge was to manage three eras at the same time with the backdrop of the disappearance of two children in the 80’s. In short, more than ever, True Detective seems to be getting back to its roots, while setting the bar even higher. Which, obviously, is not displeasing to us. And his cast is in tune because we will keep track of the large Mahershala Ali, Stephen Dorff and the great Scoot McNairy, all under the eye advised by director Jeremy Saulnier. Yes, you can’t be impatient.

And we just learned today, via the website Deadline that Ray Fisher, Cyborg of the Justice League, will also be of the party, since he played a recurring role whose identity is for the moment still kept secret. HBO seems to be so determined to give back to True Detective its letters of nobility as well as the position as standard-bearer of its programming, which is logical when one recalls the shock that was the season 1 and the ruthless competition of Netflix for a few years.
It will unfortunately have to take his evil in patience, since season 3 is not scheduled before 2019, but in any case, one thing is for sure, it smells super good.
