The spin off on Bumblebee looks quite different from Transformers 5 and the rest of the license
After the ultimate trailer of Tranformers 5 – The Last Knight and its imminent release, Paramount is already thinking about the next, the spin off entirely dedicated to Bumblebee . We’ve known for a long time that a film for the Transformer that turns into Chevrolet Camaro but we now have a fairly accurate idea of what lies ahead. It is thanks to the producer of the franchise Lorenzo di Bonaventura that we know a little more and the good news is that the film will be held in 1985 . That means we will have fewer Transformers from all over and Bumblebee will again be unable to speak otherwise than through radio shows and songs.
But the producer even went further by comparing the film with Iron Giant , the mythical film by Brad Bird, creator of The Incredibles and Ratatouille. For those who have never seen this masterpiece of animation, a kid finds a giant robot unable to speak and befriends him. Inevitably, one sees easily where he wants to go but the producer specifies nevertheless it is the more modest but emotional aspect that evokes him the preparation of this spin off. Fewer explosions and more emotions are to be expected for this spin off that looks very different from the franchise and this renewal is rather a good thing.
