The next Luc Besson, Valerian and the thousand planets, is rather expected. It must be said that the film is the adaptation of a comic strip by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières adulated by enthusiasts. And this is not all because with this film, Luc Besson is at the head of the most expensive French feature film of its history! Suffice to say that the risks are rather high and the film, which unveiled new images, expected at the turn. Yet it is not this pressure that seems to curb the filmmaker since two sequences are already planned. Better still: they are in writing according to an interview given to RTL!

Of course, these suites are not under construction but Luc Besson remains optimistic about his desire to create a trilogy as he entrusts it to RTL “I would like to do a lot on 2 and 3. I already finished writing 2 And I started the 3. I do not do it by superstition but it does not matter if it does not work, because I’m very happy to have written them anyway. To know if Valerian 2 and 3 will emerge, we will have to watch for the financial and critical success of Valerian, which Dan DeHaan described as surprising. To discover the latter, go to the cinema from 26 July.
