We still remember with emotion the moment it was full of hope about the series for Marvel on Netflix. And then, something happened, that has undermined our beautiful dream. But Daredevil should put a bit of order in all this.

And it is true that the alliance Marvel – Netflix is a hell of a missed appointment. While the first two seasons of the Daredevil we had put K. O., the same can not be said of the suite, the pom-pom is obviously reached with the Defenders. If The Punisher has raised the bar, we are still waiting that the whole finds its trimmings of yesteryear. This may be the opportunity of the third season of Red Devil.

If one wants to believe it is because this season 3 marks the return of Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, exceptionally played by Vincent D’onofrio. Indeed, the actor does not lose time and warns us that his character will be somewhat different before the microphone of Collider :

“It is difficult to do better than the first season, when it was written by Steven S. DeKnight, but the new showrunner Erik Oleson is a very good author. I have scenes which are quite nice. It is different but it’s still Fisk. The character evolves. Its node-drama is based on emotion, so it takes him even further on this road.”

And the primary component of his evolution is, apparently, his stay in prison in season 2 :

“He has new goals. This is all I can say, if it were up to me, I would say more because it is really interesting. But it is very important to them that I keep silent. All I can say is that we are doing things that will surprise fans. There are elements that are closely part of the story of the Kingpin and Daredevil that fans have been waiting for a long time. It has already turned by evil and there are more of that happens. I think people will be happy.”

Left to do is to cross our fingers that this season is, at least at the level of the first two seasons.
