The coat is junk on the beaches. The French have understood this. One in five have chosen the hair removal all over for her shirt in the summer, according to an Ifop poll for Newspaper (1). The swimsuit, which probably explains this choice. In the spring, the fewer women are opting for this form of hair removal.

But getting rid of the hair is not the rule, provided that : 74 % of the French intend to epilate the bikini. And the majority has realized that the integral was not of interest.

 

 

A culture broth

The argument regularly comes back in the mouth of the followers of the waxing full : it is more hygienic to wear a pussy without hair. According to a study published in JAMA Dermatology, 60 % of women approved of this finding.

The question of aesthetics may be the subject of a debate. But it is not the case for the health. Because the hair, although unsightly, are very useful to protect the most intimate parts of bacteria and viruses. Pluck hairs and bulbs provides a pathway for pathogens.

In fact, the vulva provides an ideal environment for the development of infectious diseases. The environment is warm and moist. Without the protection of hair, yeast infections, urinary tract infections, or sexually transmitted (STIS) are a refuge for the less welcoming.

A study, published in 2017 in Sexually Transmitted Infections, confirms the risk of hair removal complete. Its followers are 2.6 times more at risk of STIS skin – such as herpes – and 70% more at risk of STIS causing secretions. The greater the frequency of hair removal is, the higher this probability is increased.
