There are series that sound like the obvious, although this is not necessarily the case at the time of their announcement. And, Westworld, this is exactly what it is.

The adaptation of the Mondwest of Michael Crichton, we will be caught off guard when we realized, not long after the pilot, that we were dealing with what was probably one of the series most intelligent of recent years. Performed with talent, with a rich universe and a complex, excellently interpreted and dramatic as possible, Westworld we are held in suspense during its eight episodes before we leave on a big cliffhanger of families, so much sense that we had not all seen it coming.

Necessarily, such a series, that needs to be earned and that requires a big preparation. It is thus for it that the season 2 has taken too long to show. But, be assured, it is coming soon even if it is still necessary that the channel HBO gives us a date more precise than this “April, 2018.”

To make us wait, the network has decided to give us a new trailer for season 2 during the Superbowl and what can one say except that we have yet taken full eyes. The revolt of the machines is booming, the camps are divided, and the exploration of the park widens. One remains speechless in front of the incredible images (the charge of the bulls robotic with Thandie Newton imperial in the middle for example), one finds from the outset, the special ambience of the show and he already seems to know that this new season will not have to blush in the face of his eldest.

Yeah, that sounds promising…

We advance a little hasty of course, but we are sincere for once. This trailer is probably the trailer for the most beautiful and most captivating that has given us the Superbowl this year and we are very glad that it falls to Westworld because, if there’s a program that deserves this distinction, it is him and nobody else.

Strongly April so.
