When Nemo the dog of the president peed on the fireplace of the Elysium : Emmanuel Macron was still work to be done to educate the dog – Gala
unusual
In the middle of a meeting with three members of her Government, Emmanuel Macron attended a scene to say the least, unusual: his dog, Nemo, has begun to urinate on the fireplace in the room.
The scene could not have been more comical. At 55, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, in the gilding of one of the rooms of the palace of the Élysée, a dog urinates on a fireplace. This cross Griffon/black Labrador, two years old, is none other than Nemo, the dog adopted by the president of the Republic after he came to power. If the scene has something to smile about, it takes a twist even more unusual by its context. Nemo has not chosen to relieve herself in the middle of the night but rather during the day, in the middle of a meeting between the president of the Republic, his secretary of State in the ministry of the Ecology, the secretary of State to the minister of Economy and Finance and the secretary of State to the minister of territorial Cohesion. To top it all off, a camera TF1 was in the room at the time of the incident and was able to capture the reactions of the witnesses. “So… he is doing something quite extraordinary…” , made directly with the president. A moment of silence, heads turn and then, suddenly, mad general laughter. “You’ve triggered in my dog a behaviour that is completely unusual , “jokes then the successor of François Hollande before apologising to his interlocutors, and resume the conversation.
However, this is not the first time that the young Nemo remarked. First dog in history adopted by a chairman-in-office, the animal has made about him since his first day at the Élysée palace. Alongside Emmanuel Macron during the official visit of the president of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou, walking in the middle of the ministers during a government seminar, just missing dropping Brigitte Macron during an official photo, Nemo breathes life and seems to have a power without common measure. Described as “lively, intelligent, playful, and fun“, he enjoyed frolicking in the courtyard of the palace or its gardens. Since his arrival at the Elysée palace, Nemo is a delight to photographers. Maybe a little less than that of the bailiffs. Emmanuel Macron has however warned his entourage: “This dog has lived I do not know how many years in a cage, now, are the spoils!“.
