A few months after the international success of The Haunting of Hill House, similar projects are proliferating.
In fact, The Haunting of Hill House is born from the literary masterpiece of Shirley Jackson, The Haunted House, as well as his previous adaptation, The House of the Devil, the wonders of Robert Wise. Mike Flanagan has made the choice to take a deep breath in of the two works, while renewing totally the storylines, with the success that we know.
That is not surprising, in view of the unanimity and public criticism, that the competition tries to engage in this direction. This is what is about to make the joint platform of Disney, and ABC (Freeform), which will produce, under the patronage of Alexandra McNally (Under the Dome) and Josh Berman (The Experts), a replay of the Round Nut.
