Alien Covenant: What links with Prometheus?

Alien Covenant will be the occasion for Ridley Scott to expand the universe of this franchise existing since 79. But what links will the film have with Prometheus?

Ridley Scott has created a film in 1979 monument alongside HR Giger: the Xenomorph from Eighth Passenger . Therefore, the monster appeared in numerous films as Aliens, Alien³ or Alien Resurrection . At the exit of Prometheus in 2012, many fans hoped to see the creature in this new production of Ridley Scott set in the same universe as the Alien films. A character being actually be an Android and will no doubt different in Alien Covenant since several models with similar appearance seem to exist . In Prometheus , the robot wanted to discover the secret of immortality to heal the director of Weyland, Peter Weyland, expedition organizer. In Alien Convenant , there likely that its goal will be to study more closely the anhedral .
