France Gall and Michel Berger were married in 1976 and together have two children, Pauline and Raphael. But on August 2, 1992, the singer-songwriter died of a massive heart attack. A few months later, France Gall discovers that she is suffering from breast cancer.

If the sudden death of the singer-songwriter Michel Berger has been a shock to his many fans, he was even more so for his wife and the mother of his children, the singer France Gall. In April 1993, 9 months after the heart attack that took away the love of his life, the singer discovers that she is suffering from breast cancer. During an interview at the Gala in 2012, it tells the story of this event in which it assumes the origins psychosomatic : “It was a nightmare when I found out, like everyone else. In a very short time, it is happening in the world of illness, of the sick, it is another planet. I was very scared. The announcement of the death of Michael, I felt a pain in the belly, in the body, so strong, I told myself that it had to stand out in one way or another. My cancer was the realization of my evil within. ”

Supported early enough by the medicine, France Gall is successfully operated on the 22 April 1993. After a life full of events, from the death of his canine companion of his daughter, Pauline, suffering from cystic fibrosis,she died at age 70 on 7 January 2018 as a result of a severe infection.
