If the case, Weinstein is at the centre of all the discussions for the month of October last, it was followed quickly by another scandal, the one about Kevin Spacey. And House of Cards almost never recover.

When one speaks of the greatness and decadence, one can’t help but think of Kevin Spacey in this moment. The actor is actually dropped from very high a few months ago in response to accusations of sexual harassment promulgated by the actor Anthony Rapp against it. In a defence which is quite strange, Spacey revealed his homosexuality publicly (as if it gave him an excuse…) before more records fall, including cases of racism on the set of his series.

Kevin Spacey leaves his chair

Netflix did not seek noon at fourteen hours, by returning it immediately to the plateau, putting in danger the ultimate season of House of Cards which had to be produced. In the end, the series will indeed return for one final lap around the track, with Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, in the main heroine.

While the series is expected to return on our networks this fall, here is that the actress Patricia Clarkson, interpreter of Jane Davis since season 5, if it is permitted to specify on the plateau of The Talk that if the series had a right to one last season, it was only thanks to the efforts of Robin Wright :

Robin Wright manages the crisis

“Robin has taken care of all these people to save their job, because if the show disappears, they are no longer paid. We have charming show runners, Frank Pugliese, and Melissa Gibson, and they really killed with the task to rethink the series as a whole. This season only lasts 8 episodes, but I think it’s going to be really fantastic. And I thank you for that.”

A statement, of course, only to appease the restless masses and to prepare the public for the return of the series. As well as to prepare the series to its dissemination, as inevitably to his return, there will be talk again of Kevin Spacey, his business, and that House of Cards will inevitably have to take even more distance with the scandal not that his hearing was impacted.
