Jurassic World 2: A first image promo tease the return of the Indominus Rex
Will the Indominus Rex return in some form in Jurassic World 2? To believe the new promotional image of the film, it could well!
You thought you were done with the Indominus Rex? Think again ! Born of a mixture of DNA from several species – including that of raptors – the big dinosaur with sharp teeth carried out a veritable carnage in the first Jurassic World , sowing chaos on the island of Isla Nublar. And it took the combined forces of a group of raptors, our favorite old T-Rex and an immense mosasaur to overcome them. In other words, the beast was resistant! Especially because she was showing a confused intelligence, which made her all the more dangerous. But it was thought to have reached the end of the first film, the Indominus Rex having ended in the stomach of the mosasaur. It was without counting of course on human hubris , Capable of the best as well as the worst. Thanks to the new details of the plot of Jurassic World 2 that have leaked , we know that the Indominus Rex genes have not quite disappeared. But what was unknown was that the crazy creation of Dr. Wu (BD Wong) might be back in another form ! In any case, this is what the new promotional image of the film seems to teaser.
This malicious yellow eye that fixes you without blinking, you recognize, the meltynauts? Yes, it looks like the one of the ruthless Indominus Rex – or at least it resembles him enormously . This promotional image comes directly from the magazine Global License and is almost like a poster. So should we conclude that the Indominus Rex will be back in the sequel to Jurassic World ? Not necessarily. Already, it is doubtful that the dinosaur survived the drowning and the jaws of the mosasaur. This does not mean that there is no way to recreate the beast, as Dr. Henry Wu has certainly preserved the research that led him and his team to give birth to him. But the image could just as well be generic and only remind us of the terrible events that occurred in the first film. And in teaser so much more dramatic to come, of course! So hard to say for now what this image really means. But if the Indominus Rex really came to make a new appearance, it would not be the only one to make its return in Jurassic World 2 since Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) would accompany it! In your opinion, could the Indominus Rex be back in the future?
