Kevin Smith says more about the future series Howard The Duck

Considered as a gigantic nanard, Howard… a new breed of hero has also acquired the status of a cult film. All the more reason for it to return, finally, on the airwaves, but in a way a little different.

If you have between 35 and 40 years, you probably remember that Sunday evening, around 18h, when, innocently, you turned on the television on Canal + to see the great movie of the end of the afternoon before This Cartoon. Movies a little familieux, not too violent, when suddenly, you fall on Howard… a new breed of hero.

And then, shock, trauma, misunderstanding, tears. Instead of a duck nice we are left with a soûlard who plays the guitar and tries to get the mother to Marty McFly, in the face of a scientist who becomes a big monster disgusting. You have not changed but yet you know you are different at the end of the film : welcome to the world of the great.

Buried for almost 30 years by its producer George Lucas, Howard is back on the front of the stage thanks to James Gunn, who made it the centre of the scene post-credits of Guardians of the Galaxy, in the ultimate foot-to-nose. Since, it was expected that his return likely, no one knew just when or how.

So, this will be in the form of a tv series for the network, Hulu, as we told you last week, in a program written by Dave Willis and Kevin Smith. Smith is also allowed to give a few details on this upcoming animated version in the micro Marvel.com :
