When we learn that a new adaptation of Dracula will arrive on our screens, there is bound to be a bit skeptical. But it is without counting on the talent of Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The creators of Doctor Who (second generation) and Sherlock have managed, in a few seasons only, to make their creations monuments.
Their adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, mastered both in writing and in the staging, and the originality of Doctor Who so give a little hope in this project.

Unlike the series Dracula Daniel Knauf and Tony Krantz (2013), with in the lead role, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss will crash his set in 1897 in Transylvania, in the middle of the victorian era that befits both the Count sucking blood.
The adaptation of the classic Bram Stoker is a co-production by Netflix-BBC, and will be a mini-series. A format that the two producers have mastered to wonder : three episodes of 90 minutes.
