Since the undo of Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Daredevil, the future of the series Marvel Netflix seems compromised. And there is nothing to suggest that these heroes will be back on Disney+ so early…

Unable to find an agreement to Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil and The Defenders, Netflix has canceled its series Marvel. Since the future of The Punisher and Jessica Jones on Netflix (and other heroes for short) raises many questions.

After the announcement of Disney saying he did not want these programs on its streaming service, and the failed attempt of Charlie Cox to save Daredevil, Mike Colter (Luke Cage) had announced that the complaints of the fans would not be enough to save the series Marvel.

Disney+ vs Netflix

Indiewire has taken advantage of the Festival to Sundance to ask the interpreter of Luke Cage, if it was possible for the series to return :

“I have no idea because this is one of those things that only happens because the one who has the power has decided that all that needed to be on another platform. If the series will return, I don’t know. I’ll be in the area, but until then I’m going to work on other things all as cool as this one. “

The Defenders

Marvel has a nice repeat do not have, for the moment, no idea what Disney will do with these series, it is clear that integrating Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders in the catalog of the platform Disney+ is absolutely not one of their priorities.

And even though the studios would like to do something with it, they are bound hand and foot for two years, during which time these heroes may not appear anywhere other than in a production of Netflix.

So, we will not say that there is a real hope that the (re)see it on Disney+ in two years, and according to Mike Colter, it would be necessary to even ask the question in three years. In short, case to follow…

Coffee break in the meantime ?
