Cinema 26 April, 2017

While episode 4 of the Prison Break Revival has just been released on FOX, let’s get back together about the highlights of “The Prisoner’s Dilemma”!
A brilliant episode! And yes the meltynauts, if the first episodes of the Revival really did not manage to offer us the suspense and tension so marvelously exploited in the previous seasons, “The Prisoner’s Dilemma” plunged us forcefully into what was the genius of the series . Everything was masterfully orchestrated offering us both to suffer and rejoice in a perfect balance. While Melty’s editorial suggests Paul Scheuring’s confidences about Sheba’s and Lincoln’s relationship in the Prison Break Revival , let’s go back in detail to the events that marked “The Prisoner’s Dilemma” aired last night on FOX . And the least that ‘ One can say is that Michael’s situation seemed rather desperate. Isolated, our hero had no choice but to execute his plan B. Obviously he had one, it is definitely not Michael Scofield for nothing. So there is a possibility to go out but unfortunately, this implies trusting Ramal who is thirsty for revenge since Michael betrayed him. But Yemen is in a dangerous climate and the country is expected to fall rapidly, offering unprecedented opportunities for other prisoners to negotiate their freedom . Cross then fomented an interesting plan: that of taking Ramal hostage in order to be able to get out alive. The terrorist has no other options, he must ally himself with Michael who is starting his latest plan.
It is the first time since the beginning of the Revival that we have the impression of finding our hero. Still as cunning and human, he has four strokes ahead of his opponents which does not prevent him from finding himself in a complicated situation so Cross is determined to catch them. Fortunately, Lincoln is an extraordinary back-up and that’s where we can appreciate the strength of Dominic Purcell’s character . He is alone during the majority of the episode but he is of a crazy charisma fighting like a beautiful devil to help his brother from afar despite all the doubts of C-Note. The true hero of the revival is Lincoln. And as Michael moves from cell to cell to finalize the details, We begin to attach ourselves to the secondary characters. Whether it’s Whip, Sid or Ja, they all offer us a new generation of Fox Riders and they are almost as interesting as their predecessors. After long minutes, they manage to escape before being surrounded by the men of Ramal. But Lincoln did not say his last word and took control of an assault tank. This is where Whip takes the opportunity to show us why it is essential to this escape by making humor and killing Ramal without scruple. A few seconds later, we finally see the reunion of Michael and Lincoln. A highly anticipated and terribly intense moment. In spite of everything, no time to dwell on this scene too long because ISIL has taken control of the government and it is now the whole of the country that they will have at their heels . Meanwhile, T-Bag was fulfilling his part of the contract and putting Kellerman on the line. The opportunity for us to learn more about Poseidon. Former CIA agent, the man has followed his own ideological and no longer responds to anyone. Terrifying, he decided to use Ramal to attack powerful countries and used Michael to put his plans into effect. Very soon, it becomes clear that Kellerman is not Poseidon even if he ‘ He remains a questionable character. This is where A & W and Van Gogh attack leaving barely time for T-Bag to hide in the cellar and call for help – yes, yes, this day has arrived. After only a few episodes, it is the end of Kellerman, a crucial character of Prison Break and we will not lie to you, our heart bleeds so much it was important in its time. But this event allows T-Bag to discover the identity of Poseidon who is none other than Jacob, Sara’s husband. It remains to be seen how he used Michael and his wife. In short, this is an episode that was a real success. Prison Break is expected to raise the stakes even further next week.
