The Avengers Infinity War: What role for The Guardians of the Galaxy?

It has been confirmed for a while, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be part of the Infinity War adventure. But what importance will they have?
The Galaxy Keepers’ return time is fast approaching! April 26th exactly! And in view of the first images, including the latest trailer that unveiled Ego, the father of Star-Lord embodied by Kurt Russell , it looks as crazy, if not more, than the first shutter! But what’s even more exciting about this is that we’ll only have a year to wait before finding our favorite broken arm band, since they’ll all be back in The Avengers 3: Infinity War ! We are looking forward to seeing them fighting alongside Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk or even Dr Strange and the others, What about the place of everyone in this film which will mark the apogee of the current MCU? Will we see a lot of Star-Lord and his sidekicks or do we expect a minimal appearance? Let everyone be reassured, we should have enough to satisfy ourselves! James Gunn , the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy , was questioned on this subject and here is what he replied: “The Guardians are part of the cosmic universe, they are attached to the history of Thanos, so they are In Infinity and they have a vital role ” .
A key role, if that’s not great! At the same time, between Nebula and Gamora who are the adopted daughters of Thanos, the main villain of Infinity War, and Star-Lord who was affected by the Stone of Power, the Guardians of the Galaxy have several strings to their bow. Perhaps we will have a glimpse of what the Marvel studios reserve for them in the post-generic scene of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ? We can imagine a teaser about their role in Infinity War , or who knows, maybe their meeting with the Avengers and what brings them together? Anyway, one thing is for sure, our Guardians should come out rather unharmed from this battle against Thanos, Since James Gunn recently confirmed that there would be a third installment of the Galaxy Keepers after all this!
