Necessarily, when one produces a series of the most important and influential of these in recent years, it’s not going to let it quietly end.

This is not a secret for anyone, Game of Thrones will draw to a close in 2019 at the end of a final that we hope to be legendary. Well, not really, because if the main series will end, the franchise will be far from over. It is known for a little while as HBO and George R. R. Martin’s aim to create a large expanded universe of Westeros-based series derived from it and that at present we can count on 5 projects in development in the form of spin-offs.

If the news had been quickly confirmed, we still did not know what was waiting for us. A part of the mystery rises for a few hours because it is the channel itself that comes to announce the initiation of the pilot episode of the first spin-offs. A series that has no name yet but that will be… a prequel :

“The series tells the diving world of the Golden Age of Heroes in its darker recesses. And there is only one thing is certain : the secrets and terrifying about the history of Westeros, to the original real Walkers White, passing through the mysteries of the East and the legend of Stark, this is not the story that we thought we know.”

Therefore, a series full of revelations that has been given to the screenwriter Jane Goldman, long-time acolyte of Matthew Vaughn as she worked on the scenarios of Stardust and X-Men : The beginning. If you know nothing of the characters who will be affected by this story, it is sure that it will take place thousands of years before the main series.

As to its dissemination, reliance should not be placed prior to 2020, one year after the end of GOT, which will leave plenty of time for the production and chain of doing things.
