The Umbrella Academy unveils apocalyptic imagery in its new trailer

The Umbrella Academy, ” the series adapted from the comics of the same name in 2007, Gerard Way, will be available from February 15, 2019.

The Umbrella Academy this is the strange story of 43 babies born on the same day, different women that one thing connects them : they were not pregnant at the beginning of the day. Seven of these children are adopted by a billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who created the Umbrella Academy to prepare to save the world (thanks to super power).

 

 

 

The menu jumps in the time, a 60-year old man stuck in the body of a 10 year old child, telekinesis, a force out of the ordinary… in short, a clever cocktail of powers, which creates tensions between the six children still alive. And, if each family in its problems, that the Hargreeves fail to manage their becomes problematic when it comes to saving the planet from the Apocalypse.

The series is produced for Netflix by Universal Cable Productions. And outside of the showrunner (and creator) Steve Blackman, one will find in front of the camera Ellen Page (Vanya Hargreeves), Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves), Tom Hopper (Luther Hargreeves), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison Hargreeves), Mary J. Blige (Cha-Cha), David Castañeda (Diego Hargreeves), Aidan Gallagher (no. 5) and John Magaro (Leonard Peabody).

The first season of The Umbrella Academy, consisting of 10 episodes, will be available on Netflix from February 15, 2019.
