The flagship Franchise of the XBox, the Halo saga through the ages and the generations of console without getting to reach the doors of the cinema or television. And this is not for lack of trying.

In fact, it is at least fifteen years that a movie Halo is expected at the cinema and we do not see anything coming. Yet, we nearly have a right to it as Peter Jackson had bought the rights to adaptation, and had entrusted the reins to Neill Blomkamp for this to be his first film before the draft hood and the filmmaker herb does rabatte on District 9.

tintin-tin-tiiiiiin, tintin-tin-tiiiiiiiin

Since then, there has from time to time a small reminder about Halo , but it’s been a long time that we sat down on the perspective see the game at Bungie adapted in one form or another. Finally, it was up to the month of January last. In fact, at the time, the director of programmes for the channel Showtime, Gary Levine, said the most seriously of the world that the project was still under study and that it would make it a reality.

And so here we are, six months later, with good news. In fact, the chain is thus formally announce the construction of a series of live Halo, it would have already ordered a season of 10 episodes. The series will resume, of course, the premise of video games as we will be immersed in full-26th century, with the terrible war between the humans and the Covenant and the providential arrival of the Master Chief, who goes a little clean up this whole mess.

For the moment, no casting is expected but we already know that the inconstant Rupert Wyatt holds the position of executive producer and is expected to put in scene several episodes of this first season that we are promised also focused on the personal stories of the protagonists to give a little more body to this universe while maintaining the quota of action and adventure unique to this saga.

However, it will arm themselves with great patience because the series Halo will not begin its production at the beginning of the year 2019 and that, for the moment, no release date has been announced.

With a little bit of Halo : Reach also in it ? Huh ? Please ?
