Upstream of the Comic-Con San Diego, which will start on the 19th of July next, AMC has just unveiled the poster for the ninth season of the Walking Dead.

If you are ever late on the last-minute information about The Walking Dead, know that the series is not going very well. This is not a surprise for anyone eventually since the show is already on the downward slope for a few seasons, yet it becomes more so with the recent announcements of the departure of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), two of the major pillars of the series.

Suddenly, it’s hard to believe that the spectators will continue to cling to this series for a long time.

How would you like to go ?!

For the time being, although the two players have, respectively, announced their departures a few days of intervals, we still don’t know how or when the protagonists leave the show. Some rumors implied a departure from Maggie to the middle of the season, others thought the contrary, that Rick Grimes would hold a chouia more long starting at the end of the season 9.

A great upheaval within the series, which does not seem to disrupt more than that the show runners puisque’they have teasé the displays of their new season with… Rick in the foreground, and Maggie a little bit behind :

Hello, I will soon leave everything

For our part, we find it quite dared to put forward two central characters that will make their good-byes. Note though, that second, Daryl is still present, it’s just as well because the actor has been offered a very nice cheque for an amount big enough to retake the lead of the series after the departure of Rick.

After all it may be just marketing, since the five actors present on the poster will be at Comic-Con in San Diego. The Walking Dead season 9 will be aired in October on AMC.
