Blood, betrayals, alliances, returns, epic, and murders galore. Vikings season 5B mark a return to be daunting.

Unveiled during Comic-Con San Diego, the season 5B of the Vikings has been a strong desire. For nearly ten months (exactly) the fans are pining to see the rest of the fratricidal war between the sons of Ragnar, all the more, with a twist as monumental at the end of mid-season. Fortunately, Michael Hirst, the creator of the series has not forgotten the fans of his show, and serves on a plate, a menu is always appetizing coupled with a small icing on the cake.

There is a can not too much to eat at this precise moment

The program of the new season, always a lot of battles, blood, guts torn out, raw viscera and skulls crushed, rivalries fraternal always at the heart of the narrative, but also new alliances in anticipation. Small bite of recall and alert to the spoils for those who have not yet seen the beginning of the season 5 : at the end of the first part Ivar triumph of Lagertha and imposed himself as the new king.

This second part of the season will therefore explore the consequences of the after-battle. Ivar, self-declared as the new king of Kattegat will be conducting a “reign tyrannical on Scandinavia, which will lead to a new dark Age. Old enemies will become allies to defeat the bully who has self-proclaimed god on Earth”, according to the History Channel. The season 5B will open with the return of the legendary Rollo (Clive Standen), who is going to cause some “upheavals” in the city.

Katheryn Winnick, also still hugely impressive and charismatic in the role

On the other side, Bjorn will try to get away with a Lagertha broken, while Ubbe will want at any price to take back Kattegat from the hands of his half-brother sociopath. In short, a season which promises once again we put on the retinas.

The second part of the season 5 of the Vikings will be comprised of 10 episodes and will land as of 28 November, across the Atlantic. Season 6 is currently in full filming in Ireland and will also be comprised of 20 episodes. In the meantime, we leave you with this appetizing trailer.
