Season 1
The very first episode sets the tone of the series that opens with the death of knights of the Night’s Watch but it is especially that of Jon Arryn who launches the plot. Season 2
Having understood that this series was one of those that spares nobody, the dead of season 2 may have seemed less surprising but they have not however been particularly less numerous. Season 4
Season 4 opens with Arya’s list of which she can scratch Polliver, who had killed her friend Lommy and stolen her needle sword. Lowell, Axell Florent and especially Joffrey Baratheon come next. The death of the future king is followed by that of Dontos Hollard, who helped Sansa flee King’s Landing, and by the members of the Night’s Watch Karl Tanner, Locke, Biter, Rorge and more notably that of Lysa Arryn pushed By Littlefinger. The end of season 4 is particularly deadly with Oberyn Martell losing his fight against the Mountain then Pyp, Grenn, Mag the Mighty the giant, Ygritte and many others during the battle between Night’s Watch and the Wildlings. Season 5
The first season of Game of Thrones’ season 5 marks the death of Mance Ryder, followed in the following episodes by Lady Cerwyn, Janos Slynt and Barristan Selmy in episode 4.
